Are your products completely zero-waste?
Not yet, but we're working towards reducing packaging waste. Our reusable aluminium bottles are designed to be used again and again, helping reduce reliance on single-use bottles.

Our current paper refill pouches contain a thin protective film made with PLA and PBAT to help maintain product freshness. Although these materials are used in some compostable packaging, we have not verified that our complete pouch is compostable under the conditions available to our customers.

Are the formulas safe for color-treated hair?
Yes. Our herbal powders are formulated without sulfates or parabens and are designed to be gentle for color-treated hair. If you have particularly sensitive skin or known fragrance allergies, we recommend reviewing the ingredient list before use.

How long does shipping take?
Standard shipping typically takes 4-10 business days within Canada. Express options are available at checkout. Since our herbal powders are lightweight, their lightweight design can help reduce transportation weight compared with shipping ready-to-use liquid products.

Yes, we do ship worldwide. International shipping times vary depending on the destination but generally arrive within 10-14 business days.
Can I track my order?

Is your shipping packaging eco-friendly?
Yes. All PUReRA orders are shipped in 100% recyclable cardboard boxes with plastic-free paper tape. We use compostable cornstarch peanuts or recycled paper for protective padding.

How long does the mixed product last?
Once mixed with water, PUReRA herbal wash products have a shelf life of 6 months. For best results, follow the product instructions and keep the bottle clean, tightly closed, and stored as directed on the packaging.
How long should I wait after mixing?
After adding water, shake well and allow the powder to dissolve. For best results, wait about 6 hours before first use, although it can begin dissolving earlier.
Why is there a little residue?
Some botanical ingredients may leave a small amount of natural residue. This is normal and reflects the plant-based nature of the formula.

What is your return policy?
We want you to love your PUReRA rituals. If you're not completely satisfied, we offer a 30-day return window for all aluminium bottles and unopened powder refills. Due to the nature of our herbal products, used refills cannot be returned.
How do I start an exchange?
To exchange an item, please contact our support team. We'll provide a prepaid label for the return of your original item and process your new order immediately to ensure your sustainable routine remains uninterrupted.
What happens if my aluminium bottle is damaged?
Our aluminium bottles are designed for longevity, but if yours arrives with a defect or significant damage that impacts its use, we will replace it free of charge. Simply send a photo of the damage to our team within 7 days of delivery.
When will I receive my refund?
Once your return is received and inspected at our eco-hub, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days. Funds will be returned to your original payment method. You will receive an email confirmation once the process is complete.

How do I keep my refillable aluminum bottle clean?
We recommend rinsing your PUReRA bottle with warm water between refills. For a deeper clean, use a gentle bottle brush and a mild dish soap. Ensure the bottle and pump are completely dry before refilling with your next herbal powder batch.
Can I use the powder directly on my skin or hair?
Our formulas are water-activated and specifically designed to be mixed in our PUReRA bottles before application. Using the dry powder directly is not recommended, as it requires a specific water ratio to transform into an effective, gentle cleanser.
What is the shelf life of the botanical products?
Once water is added, we recommend using the product within 6 months for optimal freshness. The dry powder refills have a shelf life of approximately 24 months when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Is the packaging really compostable?
Not all of our packaging is currently compostable. While our paper outer packaging and funnel are intended to offer more sustainable alternatives, the refill pouch includes a thin protective film made with PLA and PBAT to help maintain product freshness. We have not verified that the complete pouch is compostable under the conditions available to our customers.
