Our pouch combines kraft paper, PLA, PBAT, and an aluminized coating, with each material serving a specific purpose. PLA (polylactic acid) can be derived from renewable plant-based resources, helping reduce reliance on fossil-based raw materials. PBAT (polybutylene adipate terephthalate) is a flexible biodegradable polymer commonly used in packaging formulations designed for compostability. Kraft paper provides a paper-based outer layer, while the aluminized coating helps provide barrier properties to protect the product and maintain its quality.

How to Recycle Your PUReRA Packaging
Kraft Paper Pouch
Please do not place this pouch in regular paper or plastic recycling. Check your local waste-management guidelines for the appropriate disposal method.
Aluminum Bottle
Rinse out any remaining product, then place the aluminum bottle in your local metal recycling where facilities exist. Aluminum is highly recyclable and can be reused again and again.
Paper Box
Crafted from recycled FSC paper. Flatten your shipping box and recycle with other paper products.
The Pump
The pump is mixed material. We recommend checking with your local facility or reusing it for your next refill.
